Deleting your data
Last updated October 23, 2026
You can delete your NAVi account and the information in it at any time, yourself, in a few steps. Here's how, and exactly what happens.
01Delete it yourself
- Sign in to NAVi at hello-navi.com.
- Open Settings.
- If you'd like a copy first, choose Download a copy.
- Choose Close my account, type DELETE to confirm, and close it.
02What's deleted
- Your plan, goals, moves, budget and calendar.
- Everything NAVi knows about you, and your conversations with NAVi.
- Your uploaded documents.
- Your connected accounts: each connection is revoked and the information from it is deleted.
- Anyone you shared your plan with loses access.
- Your sign-in, including any Google or Facebook sign-in linked to NAVi.
03What we're required to keep
A record of the guidance NAVi gave and the decisions made with it is kept, because financial firms are required by law to keep such records for a period of years. It includes your conversations with NAVi, the facts NAVi used to answer them, what NAVi read from your documents, and your plan versions and approvals. It doesn't include the document files themselves or any bank sign-in details. It's protected, used for nothing else, and deleted when the required period ends.
04If you signed in with Google or Facebook
Closing your NAVi account deletes your NAVi data as described above. To also remove NAVi from your Google or Facebook account, open that account's settings for connected apps and remove NAVi:
- Google: Google Account → Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services → NAVi → Delete all connections.
- Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → NAVi → Remove.
05Can't sign in?
Email us at contact@hello-navi.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. To protect you, we'll confirm the request is yours before we delete anything, and we'll tell you when it's done.
