Terms of Service

NAVi is a financial planning and education service. It helps you understand where you stand, set and track your own goals, see the trade-offs in a decision, and keep your plan current. It calculates hypothetical scenarios using assumptions it tells you about.

NAVi does not select investments for you. It won't recommend that you buy, sell or hold a particular security, choose funds or investment providers for you, or set your investment mix. When a question calls for that kind of advice, NAVi will say so and can help you arrange a conversation with a professional.

• Projections are hypothetical, based on stated assumptions. They are not forecasts or guarantees, and real results will differ.
• NAVi works from the information you and your connected accounts provide. If something is missing, out of date or wrong, its analysis will be too; NAVi points out what it doesn't know.
• NAVi's answers are produced with the help of AI and can contain mistakes. Check anything important, and ask NAVi or a professional when something doesn't look right.
• You make every decision and every move yourself. NAVi never moves your money.

You must be at least 18 and live in the United States. One person per account. You agree to give accurate information and keep it reasonably up to date.

Two-factor sign-in is required. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us right away at contact@hello-navi.com if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what happens in your account, except where it results from our failure to protect it.

Membership is $99 a year. Before we charge you, we'll show you the price, when you'll be billed, how renewal works and how to cancel. Meetings with a financial professional are optional and cost $100 an hour; nothing is booked or charged until you agree to a time.

If we change the price, we'll tell you in advance, and the change applies from your next renewal.

When you connect an account, the connection is read-only and made through Plaid, whose own terms and privacy policy also apply to that connection. You can disconnect any account at any time. Information from your institutions is shown as they report it; we aren't responsible for errors in what they send.

Your information stays yours. You let us use it to provide NAVi to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can download a copy or close your account and delete it at any time; see Deleting your data.

Please don't:

• use someone else's account or information without their permission;
• try to break into, overload or interfere with NAVi, or get around its limits or security;
• copy, resell or build a competing product from NAVi or its content;
• use NAVi for anything unlawful.

NAVi has fair-use limits on conversations so the service stays available to everyone.

You can close your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts NAVi or other members at risk; except where we can't for legal or security reasons, we'll tell you why and give you the chance to download your information first.

We work to keep NAVi accurate, secure and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim relating to NAVi is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any responsibility we have to you that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including any duties we owe you under securities or consumer protection laws. Your agreement to these terms and your own decisions do not remove those obligations.

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and its date, and tell you in NAVi or by email before a significant change takes effect. If you don't agree, you can close your account.

These terms are governed by the laws of Florida, except where the law of the state you live in gives you protections that can't be waived.
